Welcome to La Primera Art Gallery!

I created this space out of a need for personal growth and a deep love for art.

I am originally from Poznań, Poland, and have lived in sunny Valencia for almost 20 years.
My fascination with art began in my childhood – I often accompanied my mother to work at the Grand Theatre. Opera is music and singing, but what fascinated me the most was the world of stage design, props, and costumes. I eagerly browsed the programme, looking for the name of my favourite scenographer and artist, Ryszard Kaja. If he was the author of the stage design, I was ready to go to an opera that, as a small child, I did not understand, just to absorb every detail of the theatrical decor.

I am an economist by education and have worked for many years in international corporations across various industries. This experience taught me management and organisation skills, but my soul has always longed for art. I drew, was interested in interior design, graduated from a decorative school, and carried out my first projects for family and friends. I also worked in a company dealing with interior design and furniture sales – this experience opened my eyes to the role of art in our everyday surroundings.

Moving to Spain was another step, and life led me in a completely different professional direction. However, art never stopped knocking on my heart. I attended drawing courses, furniture restoration courses, and material science classes…

Art has always been not only a passion for me but also a refuge. It helped me relax and find inner peace. It was my escape and a way to survive difficult times in my life. It was during these moments that I understood even more how powerful the connection with beauty and the creative process can be.

From this inner need, La Primera Art Gallery was born – a project that has matured with me over time. It is an ongoing process that brings me joy and fulfilment. I continue to expand my knowledge about gallery management, curating, art collecting, and art criticism.

My experiences and emotional connection with art led me to create the idea of “LET YOURSELF FEEL THE ART“. It is around this manifesto that the non-conventional, non-stationary La Primera was born.
